Why people look for a Resume Now alternative

Resume Now has an AI resume builder, an ATS resume checker and "dozens of professional designs," per its pricing page. People leave over the price structure:

• The trial renews. The 14-day Full Access pass ($2.45 on October 7, 2026) auto-renews at $23.95 billed every four weeks, 13 times a year. Prices vary by session or promotion: a day earlier the page showed $1.45 and $1.85 passes renewing at $23.85, so check checkout.
• The free plan downloads plain text. Its terms list building a resume and "downloading a .txt version" as the free tools.
• Refunds are tied to the trial. The terms say Resume Now "may issue a refund" if you cancel before the trial ends and "does not guarantee refunds after trials are expired."
