Best Rezi Alternatives for ATS Resume Optimization (2026)

The best Rezi alternatives in 2026 are Teal for a free builder with keyword matching, Jobscan for the deepest keyword scanning, Kickresume for design plus an ATS checker, and ResumeFast for a free keyword matcher, one ATS check a month and your first PDF or Word download free. Rezi Pro costs $29 a month or $149 once.

What Rezi does well

Rezi was built around applicant tracking systems. Its pricing page says the Rezi Score checks a resume against 23 metrics, and Pro adds keyword targeting, unlimited AI and unlimited PDF exports. Its free plan is unusually generous with AI: the AI resume writer and editor are included, along with one resume, one AI interview and 3 PDF downloads. And it's one of the few builders with a $149 lifetime plan, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan.

Why people look for an alternative

• $29 a month if you don't want the lifetime plan.
• One resume and 3 downloads on the free plan, which runs out if you tailor each application.
• A limited Rezi Score on free. The full score and keyword targeting are Pro features.

Rezi alternatives compared

1. ResumeFast: free checks, low monthly price

Ours, so read it as the interested party.

The keyword matcher compares your resume with any job post without an account, and a free account adds one full ATS check and 10 AI credits a month. You can build unlimited resumes and cover letters free. Your first PDF or Word download is free; after that, PDF and Word need Pro at $6.95 a month, which also makes ATS scans and AI writing unlimited.

Where Rezi is better: its scoring has more named metrics, its free plan includes more AI writing, and the $149 lifetime plan beats any subscription if you'll use it for years.

2. Teal: free builder with keyword matching

Teal's free plan highlights the top 5 keywords from a job post and includes unlimited resumes, PDF downloads and 10 AI bullet credits. Teal+ ($13 a week, $29 every 30 days or $79 every 90 days) makes keyword matching unlimited (pricing). See Teal alternatives.

3. Jobscan: the most focused keyword scanner

Jobscan gives 5 free scans a month and a free resume builder; unlimited scans and its AI tools cost $49.95 a month or $89.95 a quarter after a 7-day trial (pricing). Details in is Jobscan free?

4. Kickresume: design plus an ATS checker

Kickresume's Premium ($24 a month, $54 a quarter or $96 a year) includes an ATS Resume Checker and AI Writer, and its free plan keeps 4 basic templates you can download as often as you like (pricing).

What a search costs

If your search runs past about five months, Rezi's lifetime plan costs less than its monthly plan. The median search was 11.5 weeks in September 2026 (BLS Table A-12); see the resume builder pricing comparison for 15 builders.

Who should stay with Rezi

• You want AI writing and an ATS score in one tool, and the lifetime plan fits.
• You're inside its 30-day money-back window and it's working.
• You build resumes often (for yourself or others) and $149 once is cheaper than any subscription.
