Warehouse Associate Resume Examples

A warehouse associate resume should show your rate, your accuracy and your safety record: units picked or packed per hour against target, order or count accuracy, and time without an incident. Name the equipment you are trained on, such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks, and the scanner or warehouse management system you use. Entry-level workers can show the same strengths from retail stocking, fast food or other physical jobs.

Warehouse Associate resume questions

How do I write a warehouse resume with no experience?

Show that you are reliable, careful and comfortable with physical work: stocking shelves, fast food, landscaping, moving or sports all count. Mention any scanner, inventory or equipment you have used, your availability for nights, weekends and overtime, and that you can lift the weight listed in the posting if you can.

Do I need forklift certification for a warehouse job?

Not for most entry-level picking and packing jobs, but it helps. OSHA requires employers to train and evaluate anyone who operates a forklift (29 CFR 1910.178), with a re-evaluation at least every three years, so certification usually comes from the employer. List the trucks you are certified on and when.

What numbers should a warehouse resume include?

Your rate against target, such as units per hour or orders per shift, your accuracy, the volume you handle, such as trailers per shift, and your safety record. Your site's performance dashboard usually has these figures.
