In the resume builder, find the 'Work Experience' section. Click 'Add Experience' to create a new entry. Fill in: Job Title, Company Name, Location, Start/End Date, and bullet points describing your responsibilities and achievements. Use the AI suggestions feature to enhance your bullet points.
Yes! Your resume is automatically saved in your browser. Simply return to ResumeFast and continue editing. If you downloaded as DOCX, you can also edit it in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. For PDF files, come back to ResumeFast to make changes and re-download.
When writing bullet points in your work experience, click the 'AI Enhance' button. Our AI will suggest improved versions of your content with stronger action verbs, quantifiable metrics, and better formatting. Choose the suggestion you like or use it as inspiration to write your own.
Click the 'Download' button in the top right corner of the resume builder. Choose your format (PDF recommended for applying to jobs, DOCX if you need to edit further). Your resume will download immediately. You can download as many times as you want.
For most job applications, choose PDF format. PDFs maintain formatting across all devices and can't be accidentally edited. Choose DOCX if the job posting specifically asks for Word format, or if you want to make edits in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
